Most likely yes, you can use our manual wash if your vehicle has a ceramic coating, but we recommend using a gentle wash process to help protect the coating.
For regular washing, the best method is:
- Rinse the vehicle first to remove loose dirt and grit
- Use High Pressure Soap to clean the surface
- Rinse thoroughly
- Finish with the Spot Free Rinse to help reduce water spots
We recommend only using stronger products such as Bug Wash, Tyre & Engine Cleaner or Pre Soak when absolutely necessary, such as on very dirty lower panels, bugs, heavy grime, or wheel areas. These products are useful when needed, but frequent use of stronger cleaners may reduce the life of some protective coatings over time.
For stubborn spots, a clean, soft microfibre cloth can be used carefully and sparingly. Avoid scrubbing with dirty cloths, sponges, or brushes, as any extra friction can effect the cermaic coating.
The best way to look after a ceramic coating is to wash the vehicle regularly before dirt has a chance to build up. A quick, inexpensive weekly wash can help keep the vehicle cleaner, make washing easier, and help your ceramic coating last longer.
